This page explains what information we collect on gridshiftprogram.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English, the same way we write everything else on this site.
Information you give us — if you fill out a form: your name, email address, phone number, street address, ZIP code, and whether you have solar. If you only complete part of the form, we may retain what you entered up to that point (for example, your name and email).
Information collected automatically — like most websites: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how far you scroll, which tools you interact with, and how you arrived here (for example, the ad you clicked, via UTM parameters). We use two product-analytics tools for this measurement: our own ADW Pixel, and PostHog.
The estimator on the home page calculates entirely in your browser. We do record the settings you choose — the monthly bill amount and system size on the sliders, and whether you selected that you have solar — as anonymous analytics events, so we can see which numbers people are actually looking at. Those settings are not linked to you personally unless and until you submit a form.
Text-message consent is never a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
PostHog records anonymized playback of site sessions — where a cursor moves, what gets clicked, how far a page is scrolled — so we can find parts of the page that confuse people and fix them. Every form field is masked before the recording leaves your browser, so the name, email, phone number and street address you type are never captured in a recording. Recordings are stored by PostHog on our behalf and are not sold or used for advertising. If you'd rather not be recorded, enabling your browser's "Do Not Track" or an ad/tracker blocker will prevent it.
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure whether our ads work. This means:

We never sell your personal information.
We keep lead information for as long as it's needed to follow up with you and meet legal requirements, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time (see below).
This site is intended for homeowners and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change this policy, we'll update it here with a new "last updated" date.
